Around 1938 Cossor introduced 2 digit numbers. Sometimes there is a similar or equivelent set with the normal 3 or 4 digit numbers.
Start here in Rogues Gallary 2 the model numbers
are not in date order.
The type 74 is a special case there are at least
3 variants with either a 3 knob or 4 knob
layout

Export
Models
These are sometimes based on domestic sets but others are designed only for the export market.
I am slowly gathering the
service data for these export models, in some cases the difference
between the domestic model is only the power arrangements. Other
cases the lack of long wave and additional short wave bands as well
as cabinet details. Some Export models are unique models such as
the 516X and 527X these have no domestic equivalent. I am
still looking for information to add to my site but I may have to
backward engineer the sets based on their nearest
relative.
